screenshot00128Pareth and Bereleth got together and decided to enjoy some Spring Festival fun. It was a welcome change for both. Dancing with each other and anyone else who would join, the grim realities of nearby battles were forgotten for awhile.

So the two hunters felt the joy of playful fun for quite a few hours. They danced into the night until exhausted, then they both returned to their homes for a brief sleep. The next morning Pareth and Bereleth had seperate travel plans, each on an important mission. It would be some time before they would have as much fun as last night. It was a Spring Festival to remember.

Pareth and Her Companions Battle the Giants

screenshot00124Pareth, along with Daerandir, Jorgin and Bereleth travelled to the Giant’s Needle in the Misty Mountains. These Frost Giants have have somehow bent the will of the mammoths of the area. Pareth’s mission was to destroy the giant leaders: Sukdyr, Madfurr, and Kulgurz.

It took quite some time to track the 3 giant leaders, but in the end Pareth, with the help of her companions, succeeded in destroying them once and for all.

Pareth returned to Rivendell for a well-deserved rest. Her battle-weary companions continued on to Moria. Pareth was filled with dread when she learned where they were going. She knew that soon she will be sent to that dark and dangerous place. She isn’t ready.

Pareth and a Gathering of Her Kin

screenshot00121_bRecently Pareth attended a small gathering with some members of her kinship – The Servants of the Secret Fire. After a long week of battles, they gathered in friendship, eager to create a pleasant change from all the fighting, even if only for a very short time. They drank ale a-plenty and feasted on the best meal they all had in ages and to Pareth, it was a welcome change from the lembas she normally eats on the road.

A few short hours later, Pareth left once more. Her latest mission is to locate a Black Rider who was rumoured to be hiding somewhere in the Misty Mountains. A few of her kin came with her, some of who were later called to Moria to fight the numerous orcs and evil creatures in the deepest passages of that place.

Pareth was silent as she rode. Her thoughts were on lands beyond Moria’s deep recesses, even further then Lorien in all it’s beauty and grace. Pareth was worried about Gondor and family and friends she had left behind months ago. She knew she had every reason to worry but she would never give up hope. “Goodness shall prevail”, she thought with conviction. “We will have peace someday”.
