A Bounty on the Troll, Dhît
Pareth and some of her kin: Nogg, Jorgin, Daerandir, and Athelian, were sent to the Trollshaws to defeat the fearsome Troll named Dhît. Not knowing what to expect, they road swiftly from Ost Guruth to what seemed like a perfectly peaceful glen in the Trollshaws.
They heard the troll before he appeared before them, so Daerandir, a worthy Captain, and Athelian, a Guardian warrior of quiet but deadly strength, soon had the troll weakened by their relentless attacks, and within what seemed like mere minutes, Dhît fell.
It was all over quickly and the journey back to Esteldin was made with a light heart, as none of the warriors were injured. They sang songs of victory and those whom they encountered marveled at the group whose eyes shone merrily as they spoke of the bounty they soon would collect.
Pareth enjoyed the company of her new friends and a new bond was formed among them and others of their kin. The kin members vowed to always help each other in times of need. Little did they know they would need each other often in the months to come.
