Ballanor Emerges From Edhellond
Ballanor of Edhellond travelled many miles from the elf haven of Edhellond, west to Celondim. Her intention was to reach the Grey Havens and to board the next ship leaving Middle Earth.
Yet, she discovered in her travels that many elves like her who intended to sail have now decided to stay and help the Free Peoples of Middle Earth defeat evil creatures and men who have even infiltrated Ered Luin.
Goblins and Dourhand dwarves attack travellers along the roads from Celondim to Thorin’s Gate. Wild animals seem disturbed, and packs of wolves and sick boars are also terrorizing the countryside. At the urgent request of the elves inhabiting Ered Luin, Ballanor has joined the ranks of those brave souls who are gathering together to rid the area of evil.
Ballanor, though quiet and shy, is deceptively powerful, a keeper of runes, whose words can heal an injured comrade or destroy an enemy. Ballanor’s strengths will be needed in the months to come. She has recently been instructed to travel to Bree where she is to have a private meeting with a Ranger known as Strider.
