The Great Battle in Ost Elendil

Pareth of Gondor loved Annúminas, the city of Kings, for she was a descendant of Númenor and her ancestors dwelled in the city before the evil minions of Angmar occupied it. So when Brynje, a strong warden of her kin, who often led battles with Pareth’s assistance, sent word that they were commissioned to take back Ost Elendil, the great palace of kings, and defeat the evil spirits and the Black Númenórean, Balhest, who occupied the throne room, Pareth volunteered to assist her.
Brynje recruited Imperious Silvermane, a seasoned captain of warriors, Kilderkin Barleywine, a skilled hobbit hunter, Endros, a mysterious runekeeper with remarkable healing capabilities, and Chromlek, a dwarven runekeeper whose unwavering power dealt serious damage to any foe who crossed his path. The six warriors met in the entrance of Ost Elendil and defeated many Morelendil guards and tormented spirits in the various chambers of Ost Elendil.
Together they defeated Guloth, and it was a difficult battle. They stopped to take a rest before the final battle in the throne room of Ost Elendil. The room was filled with many Morelendil guards, as well as three evil sorceresses who summoned even more evil spirits, causing many warriors of lesser experience to become rooted in fear.
Brynje warned the group that this was to be a gruesome fight, and that fear would be their biggest enemy, for the power of sorcery was difficult to overcome. So they all listened to their leader’s battle plans, and even though their chances of survival were lessened by the fact that they had no one in the group who could control a crowd, they were all determined to carry on and fight to the bitter end.
They finally defeated Balhest, the Lord of Ost Elendil, and they wearily approached the throne and triumphantly cheered.
Kilderkin sat on the throne, and no one minded, for he was little, and showed incredible bravery that day. Brynje sat on the steps of the throne and praised everyone for their part in the successful mission. And her voice echoed in the hallowed halls of Ost Elendil, and it seemed that the spirits of the great Kings of Númenor heard her words and they rested in peace at last.
